Pi Kappa Pi's OktoberFest
OktoberFest is quiet possibly the biggest event that Lee
University has today. This event is based on a German folk
festival that provides fun for everyone. Pi took this event and
started a Lee University folk festival that is not only designed
for campus life but also the surrounding community.
This event is held with live music, a full
stage, and lighting. Bales of hay are brought out for seating
and to help with the greased pig contest. Along with this
contest there is also arm wrestling, apple bobbing, tug-of-war,
and a log-throwing contest. Prizes are awarded to the winners
and various people from the audience that make it up to the
stage the fastest. Fresh apple cider, funnel cakes, and
bratwurst. This is a paramount event for the Cleveland area.
